North Park-  A chase of a vehicle stolen in a carjacking earlier in the evening resulted in a crash in the east alley of 4400 Texas St.  It all began about 5:30 Friday evening when a woman was parking her 2001 BMW in the 3500 block of Madison Street.  Police reported that four males with masks over their faces and armed with various guns surrounded the woman's car, pointed the weapons and ordered her out of the vehicle.  She complied with them and they made off with her vehicle.  Around 10:30, police officers located the vehicle at 2400 Meade and observed two males get into the car and drive off.  Police then tried to stop the vehicle which failed to pull over and a short chase ensued as rain just began to fall.  The driver of the stolen BMW crashed in a narrow alleyway on Texas Street and both men fled on foot.  Both suspects were located shortly thereafter with the aid of a K-9 dog.  One suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment relating to injuries from the crash and a dog bite.
