University City- A man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle during a high speed pursuit Friday evening.  According to a statement by CHP Sgt.  Tim Santillan a CHP unit attempted to stop the motorcycle on northbound 125 at Mission Gorge Rd.  The rider took off, u-turned and headed south on 125 at high speed.  CHP officers gave chase at speeds between ninety and one-hundred and twenty miles per hour, racing onto westbound 94.  The rider then tried to take the ramp for southbound I-15, which is rated for thirty-miles per hour, at approximately ninety, slamming into the concrete barrier and ejecting himself into a light pole.  The man was transported to a hospital where he died shortly thereafter.  CHP reported detecting the odor of alcohol on the rider.
