About Sean Wolfe

In a vehicle equipped with nearly a dozen radios and scanners, I follow police and fire activity  in San Diego, California.  This requires the art of listening to numerous simultaneous radio transmissions, disseminating their content and tracking multiple incidents in order to decide what events to chase.  Mutual assistance is provided by fellow stringers and a professional monitoring person.

I shoot with several Nikon D-100 6.3 mega pixel Pro-SLR camera with various lenses, strobes and other accessories.

The list of necessary equipment includes the after mentioned radio equipment, several press credentials to negotiate police/fire lines, cellular phone, fire resistant NOMEX outfit (Hardhat, goggles, pants and jacket), an emergency fire shelter, which is an absolute must for brush fires and most importantly the tact to deal with police and fire officials who are, at times, operating in a heightened emotional level.
